Welcome to the Blog
Have you ever had that moment on a Sunday evening where you look back at your week and realize you can’t remember most of it? You moved through the days on autopilot—meetings, errands, obligations—but you weren’t really there. And inside you feel this quiet ache that whispers, “Is this really it?”
If this resonates, take a deep breath. This feeling doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means you’re waking up.
That weight you’re carrying? A lot of it isn’t even yours. And you have more power to change this than you realize.
Drifting isn’t laziness—it’s disconnection from your inner self. It’s moving through life reactively instead of intentionally, making decisions based on what you should do rather than what your soul is calling you to do.
Life genuinely can feel too heavy when you’re carrying expectations that were never yours to begin with.
Here’s what I’ve learned: You have the power to put that weight down. That power has been inside you all along—you just forgot how to access it.
Taking responsibility for your life means recognizing that while you’re not responsible for everything that happened to you, you are responsible for what you do with what happened. You get to decide what comes next.
Yes, this is difficult. Confronting the fact that you have power to change means acknowledging that you’ve been living in patterns that don’t serve you. That’s a hard pill to swallow.
But here’s the beautiful thing: you’re never doing this alone. Your Higher Power is always available. The Universe is conspiring in your favor. Your intuition has been whispering guidance all along.
The problem? Most of us can’t hear those whispers anymore. We’re too busy, too loud, too distracted. We’ve lost the art of stillness.
That’s exactly where we need to start.
If you’ve tried meditation and felt like you “failed” because your mind wouldn’t stop racing—you didn’t fail. You just haven’t found your way to stillness yet. Meditation isn’t one-size-fits-all, and stillness doesn’t mean emptiness. It just means presence.
When I need to come back to myself quickly, I turn to one technique above all others: the 4-7-9 breathing method. This practice has been my anchor in storms I didn’t have a clue how I would get through.
The 4-7-9 Breathing Technique
The magic happens in that extended exhale. You’re activating your parasympathetic nervous system—your body’s “rest and digest” mode. That long exhale signals safety, allowing your heart rate to slow and clarity to emerge.
This is where your intuition lives—in that quiet space between the exhale and the next inhale.
Some of us need to move to find stillness. Try walking in nature without your phone. Focus on sensations: feet on earth, wind on skin, sounds around you. Or dance for five minutes to move energy through your body. Even mindful cooking or gardening works—when your hands are fully engaged, you’re not in your head. You’re here. And that’s where the whispers can reach you.
Do absolutely nothing. No phone, no TV, no book. Just sit with yourself for five minutes.
Your mind will race. You’ll feel restless. But if you breathe through that discomfort and stay, something extraordinary happens. The mental chatter settles. The urgent noise fades. You’ll start to hear the real you.
This is where the real whispers come through—in the space between all the noise.
Get everything out of your head and onto paper. Brain dump without editing: your fears, confusion, anger, exhaustion. Then sit with these prompts:
Your intuition speaks in whispers, but it also speaks in ink.
“This all sounds great, but I’m exhausted. I don’t have energy for more things to do.”
I hear you. Here’s the truth: you don’t need to overhaul your life tomorrow. Taking your power back happens in small shifts.
The Morning Five Minutes – Before checking your phone, give yourself five minutes. Do the 4-7-9 breathing, sit in stillness, or set one intention for your day. This isn’t adding to your to-do list—it’s reclaiming yourself before you give yourself away.
The Sacred “No” – Choose one thing you’re going to stop doing this week. Every “no” to something that drains you is a “yes” to your wellbeing.
The Pause Practice – Before reacting to emails and demands, pause. Take three deep breaths. Ask: “Is this mine to carry?” Not everything that comes at you needs to be picked up.
Trust the Whispers (Even When They’re Scary) – As you practice stillness, your intuition will speak more clearly. It might whisper that it’s time to leave the job, end the relationship, take the leap. These whispers are terrifying because they’re asking you to step into the unknown. But they’re trying to guide you back to your life—not the one you settled into.
The Universe isn’t guiding you toward comfort. It’s guiding you toward alignment.
Your Higher Power is always available. The Universe is orchestrating synchronicities on your behalf. Your inner wisdom already knows the way forward.
Start paying attention to the signs. The book that falls off the shelf. The song that plays exactly when you need those words. The conversation that answers your heart’s question. The doors that close and open.
These aren’t coincidences. They’re the whispers made visible.
When you start listening—really listening—everything shifts. You move from drifting to creating. From reactive to intentional. You don’t become a different person. You become more of who you’ve always been underneath all the noise.
Taking your power back isn’t a one-time decision. It’s a daily practice. Some days you’ll feel aligned. Other days you’ll feel like you’re back to drifting. Both are normal.
The difference now? You have tools to find your way back.
Choose one practice that resonates and start there. Build slowly. Trust the process.
The moment you decided to read this was your intuition whispering: “It’s time.” Time to stop carrying what isn’t yours. Time to step into the life you’re meant to be living—present, awake, and creating from your power.
This work is hard. But you have the power to create change. And you are never doing this alone.
Your life is waiting for you to step into it fully. The whispers have been guiding you here. Now it’s time to listen, to trust, and to take back the power that was always yours.
Love, Light, and Gratitude,
