October 31st, 2025: The Portal Opening That’s Been Calling You (And the Whispers You Need to Hear)

Have you ever felt like the Universe is trying to tell you something?

Maybe it’s that song that randomly starts playing when you’re in the shower. Or the friend who mentions something seemingly out of nowhere that speaks directly to what you’ve been pondering. Or those repeating numbers that keep showing up everywhere you look.

These aren’t coincidences. They’re whispers.

And if you’ve been paying attention lately, those whispers might be getting louder. Because we’re approaching something significant—a cosmic completion that’s been building for months, maybe even years. And for me personally? The signs have been absolutely undeniable.

The Whispers Have Been Coming Fast

Just in the last couple of days, I’ve been receiving whisper after whisper guiding me toward this moment. My book launch is happening in only a couple of weeks now on November 11th, and honestly, the Universe has been making it very clear that everything is aligning exactly as it should.

Let me tell you what’s been happening…

This past Wednesday was my birthday. I turned 54 years old. During our women’s collective cohort call that morning, one of the women wished me a happy birthday. When I told her I was turning 54, she got so excited.

“Oh my gosh, Kathleen! Five plus four equals nine. You’re completing a cycle!”

I just sat there for a moment, letting that sink in. Because it’s true. Nine is the number of completion in numerology. And here I am, at 54 years old, about to complete a 13-month journey of writing and preparing my book for the world.

But here’s what made it even more powerful…

Just the day before, I’d been talking with my spiritual advisor about my upcoming birthday. We were chatting about random things when she suddenly said, “Oh, you have a birthday coming up? You’re going to be 54?”

When I confirmed, she just started speaking. No hesitation, no thinking about it. She said: “It’s time for you to stop hiding. That cycle is over. We’re closing the door. It’s time to be out in front and let your light fall onto others.”

Two completely different conversations. Two completely different people. The exact same message about completion and stepping forward.

You can’t make this stuff up.

When the Universe Whispers Through Others

Here’s something I write about in my book that happened just yesterday, and it’s the perfect example of how the Universe works.

My son Jake was talking with his friend about something related to intuition. I wasn’t even part of the conversation initially, but Jake said to him, “Yeah, kind of like my mom’s book. The Whispers. You have to listen to your whispers, dude. The whispers within you.”

His friend was shocked. “What? Your mom’s got a book? I gotta read this book!”

This is exactly what I teach—that whispers can come through overhearing someone else’s conversation. Something that seems like it’s meant for them is actually a message for you. But in this case, it was even more beautiful because Jake was organically sharing the message of the book without even trying.

The whispers are already spreading. The message is already getting out there.

And that tells me I am 100% on the right path to get this book into the world.

The Art of Surrendering the Outcome

You know what one of the biggest things I work on with my clients is?

It’s this: Don’t make it all about the outcome, because the outcome can look different than what it is in your head.

Let me give you an example. Say somebody is working on a big creative project—an artistic piece—and their outcome is to have it displayed in a big gallery in New York. That’s what they’ve decided success looks like.

But maybe that’s not the outcome for that piece.

Maybe the outcome is that it’s going to be a traveling piece. Maybe it’s going to go from different art galleries to different art galleries, getting commissioned for display, moving from place to place until it lands in the right gallery where the right person wants to purchase it.

So it might not be this one big gallery. It might be a lot of galleries that are going to get to enjoy the piece.

You just don’t know. You’ve got to let go of the outcome because you don’t know what that is ultimately going to look like.

The same is true for my book launch. I have the book ready to go. I’m going to put it out into the public. I know it’s going to sell. But what will the ultimate outcome look like? We’re about to find out.

And I’m okay with that. Actually, I’m more than okay with it—I’m excited about it.

Don’t Get Tunnel Vision

When you get so rigidly focused on one specific outcome, you miss all these other opportunities that are along the road. Opportunities that maybe the Universe actually wants for you.

Think about it like tunnel vision. When you’re driving through a tunnel, all you can see is what’s directly in front of you. You can’t see the beautiful landscape on either side, the exits you’re passing, the alternative routes available to you.

That’s what happens when we become too attached to how we think things should unfold.

Little opportunities come up along the way, and if you are so focused on that one outcome, those little opportunities won’t even register. You’ll miss them completely because they don’t fit your predetermined vision of success.

So I’m surrendering the outcome. I’m letting the divine, letting my higher power, letting the Universe guide me. Because here’s the thing—the Universe has been directing me for over a year on this book. It’s led me here, to this exact moment. So why would I suddenly stop trusting now?

This is going to fall into place exactly as it’s meant to.

The Portal We’re Entering on October 31st

Now, here’s where things get really interesting.

October 31st isn’t just Halloween. It’s a powerful portal date—a day when the veil between our world and the spiritual realm becomes incredibly thin.

I was explaining this to Jake the other day, which is actually what led to his conversation with his friend. I told him that on the 31st, the veil thins. People who have passed can communicate with you in ways they want, however that looks. For instance, you might receive a dream that suddenly makes everything make sense. You might have a song start playing that carries a message. Or, you might even see signs and symbols everywhere you look.

It’s a huge day where you just need to pay attention to everything. Because you don’t know if somebody from the other side, or your guides, or your angels are trying to communicate with you.

And it’s not just about receiving messages from those who’ve passed. The 31st is also about moving forward, ascending. It’s about completion and new beginnings happening simultaneously.

Here’s How I Explained It to Jake

Throughout the whole day of the 31st, that veil is thin. But toward the end of the day, that door is going to close. What’s completed will be left behind you because you’re moving into something new.

Let me give you an example of how these messages can show up. 

The other day, I was in the shower listening to Eddie Pinero’s podcast. Literally, all of a sudden, my music completely changed. My phone went from playing the podcast to playing a song.

Now, I’m a strong believer that if a song starts to play unexpectedly, you need to listen to the words. Because someone, somewhere—whether it’s someone who’s passed, whether it’s one of your guides or angels—is trying to tell you something.

That’s the kind of thing that happens when the veil is thin. Little signs appear. Technology shifts. Dreams become vivid. Synchronicities multiply.

Throughout the day on the 31st, these things are going to happen. You just need to pay attention to them.

The Synchronicity That Can’t Be Ignored

And here’s what makes this portal date so incredibly significant for me personally…

The October 31st portal is literally the day I’m submitting the final draft of my book for publication.

I mean, come on. You can’t tell me that’s not synchronistic.

For 13 months, this book has been a project. And it’s finally in a completion state where the process of putting it together is closing. That door is closing on the 31st, on the exact day that the veil is thinnest and completion energy is at its peak.

And now we’re ready to put it out there and have people see it and read it.

It’s as if the Universe looked at my calendar and said, “Yeah, we’re going to make this really obvious for you, Kathleen.”

According to ancient Celtic tradition, October 31st marks Samhain—one of the most spiritually powerful times of the year. The veil between the physical and spiritual worlds dissolves, making it easier to receive divine guidance, connect with your intuition, and gain clarity on your path forward. It’s a time of honoring what’s ending and welcoming what’s beginning.

And that’s exactly what’s happening. For me, the creation phase is ending. The sharing phase is beginning.

When a Door Opens, You Must Walk Through It

Here’s something I need you to understand, and it’s so important that I’m going to say it exactly as it needs to be said:

When a door opens for you, it is an opportunity, but you also need to walk through it.

The Universe doesn’t just hand you everything on a silver platter and say, “Here you go, no action required.” That’s not how this works.

When that door is closed, it’s closed. You’re on to the new thing. But if you don’t take any action when the door is open, things are going to stay exactly the same.

Let me tell you how I learned this lesson.

At the beginning of my book journey, I started getting little whispers. The first one came, and I noticed it. The second one came, and I thought, “Huh, interesting.” But by the third whisper within a week, I was like, “Okay, I get it. I need to get my book going. Now.”

Because here’s the thing…

When you get so many whispers on something and you don’t take action, the Universe is like, “Alright, well, you’re not going to do it? I’ll find somebody else.”

The Universe will move on and give somebody else that opportunity.

I’m a strong believer in this. The Universe has specific messages that it needs to get out into the world. And if you’re chosen to deliver that message but you keep ignoring the signs? The Universe will absolutely find someone else to do it.

And then you’re going to be sitting there very disappointed, watching someone else live out the opportunity that was meant for you.

That’s why when I kept getting those signs, I knew it was time to act. Because I was not about to let somebody else write the book I was meant to write.

We’re Always Being Guided (If We’re Listening)

The truth is, we’re always being guided. Always.

But if we’re not listening, we don’t know it. We miss the signs, we ignore the whispers, and we wonder why we feel stuck or directionless.

Now, that doesn’t mean you’re not going to still end up on that path later if you miss it now. You will. The Universe is patient. You’ll be guided back there at a later date.

But you’ll have missed it for now. And who knows what opportunities, connections, or experiences you’ll miss in the meantime?

I was listening. I was taking in the whispers. And by the third one, I was taking action.

Because the alternative—ignoring it and watching someone else do what I was meant to do—was unacceptable to me.

This Portal Isn’t Just About My Book

Now, I want to be clear about something. When I was explaining all of this to Jake, I made sure he understood that this portal isn’t just about one thing.

I said, “Don’t get tunnel vision on me. What I mean is, it could be about a relationship, work-related, or even about this house you’re buying. It could be about whether you’re going to sell your business this year or next year. Honestly, it could be anything out there.”

The point is, you have to listen to what you’re being told. Because it’s different for everybody.

Mine is definitely about the book. I can feel it. The number nine showing up, the spiritual advisor’s message about stepping forward, Jake’s friend asking about it, the synchronicity of the October 31st submission date—it’s all pointing to this moment.

But for you? It might be something completely different.

Maybe you’ve been getting whispers about:

• A relationship that needs to end or evolve, or a new connection that wants to form
• A career move you’ve been contemplating
• A creative project you’ve been putting off
• A conversation you need to have
• A boundary you need to set
• A dream you need to pursue

Whatever it is, the October 31st portal offers you a powerful opportunity to tune in and receive the guidance that’s been waiting for you.

How to Navigate the Portal Energy on October 31st 2025 

So how do you actually work with this portal energy on the 31st?

First, pay attention to everything. I mean everything.

Notice what songs play, what animals cross your path, what people say to you, what dreams you have. Write things down throughout the day because when the veil is thin, messages come fast and you might forget them.

Second, create some quiet space. Even just five or ten minutes where you’re not scrolling, not watching TV, not distracting yourself. Just sit in silence and allow whatever wants to come through to arrive.

Third, ask for clarity. If there’s something specific you want guidance on, ask for a sign. Be specific about what you’re asking for and when you want to receive it by. Fourth, trust what you receive. Don’t second-guess yourself, rationalize away the signs, or try to convince yourself that it’s “just a coincidence.” When you get that gut feeling that something is significant, it is.

And fifth, be ready to take action. Because remember—when a door opens for you, you have to walk through it. The portal can show you the way, but you still have to move your feet.

What I Know for Sure

As I’m writing this, we’re just days away from the October 31st portal. And honestly? I’ve never felt more certain about anything in my life.

This book is meant to be in the world. The timing is perfect. The whispers have been clear. And I’m ready.

Is there some uncertainty? Of course. I don’t know exactly how the launch will go on November 11th. I don’t know who will be able to make it to the event. And, I don’t know what the response will be when people start reading it.

But you know what? That’s okay. Because I’m not trying to control the outcome anymore.

I’m trusting that it will go exactly as it’s meant to go, just like everything else in this whole process has. Every twist, every turn, every challenge, every breakthrough—it’s all led me here. To this portal. To this moment of completion and new beginning.

And I’m walking through that door.

Your Whispers Are Waiting

So let me ask you something…

What whispers have you been ignoring?

Have you noticed signs have you been rationalizing away?

What opportunities have you been too scared to take action on?

October 31st is your chance to stop ignoring them. The veil is thin. The guidance is available. The portal is open.

But it won’t stay open forever. By the end of the day on the 31st, that door closes. What’s complete will be complete. What’s ready to begin will be waiting for you on the other side.

The question is: Are you going to walk through?

Because here’s what I know from my own experience and from working with hundreds of clients—your soul has been preparing you for this moment. Whatever “this moment” is for you.

All those experiences you’ve had, all those lessons you’ve learned, all those challenges you’ve overcome—they weren’t random. They were preparing you.

And the whispers? They’re getting louder because it’s time. It’s time to stop hiding, stop playing small, stop waiting for the perfect moment.

The moment is now. The portal is opening. And the Universe is waiting to see what you’ll do.
